How To Use It

1. Start with clean skin and a few drops of facial oil, serum or night cream. The stone needs slip — on dry skin it will drag.
2. Take the large roller head and start at the centre of the face. Roll outward, always in one direction: jaw to ear, cheek to temple, then across the forehead from centre to hairline.
3. Three to five slow passes over each section. Light pressure — the weight of the stone is the pressure.
4. Switch to the small roller head for under the eye and along the brow bone. Work from the inner corner outward, barely touching the skin.
5. Now the gua sha stone. Hold it almost flat against the skin, at a shallow angle rather than an edge-on one.
6. Long, single-direction strokes: from the chin along the jawline to the ear, from beside the nose out to the temple, from the centre of the brow out toward the hairline.
7. Use the notch in the stone to sit either side of the brow bone, and finish with slow downward strokes along the side of the neck.
8. Three to five minutes is plenty. Stop before it starts feeling like a task.

Rinse the stone in cool water afterwards and dry it properly. Never warm it — the cold is the point.

When To Use It
